J'espérais les voir à la télé dans la ligue Europa.

Hello, why are Sion at the bottom of the table? What is different this season?
I was hoping to see them on TV in the Europa league.

This year is probably the must terrible bullshit year qui est coming depuis the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

First time: the legendary cup final is dead
Second time: Sion is relegable in the middle of championship
And last but not least: Johnny is dead

The loss of Jérémy Taravel has sunk our team, he was one of the greatest players to have ever graced the club.

[spoiler]Now if you want the truth: we needed to win our last game of the season to qualify for the EL and we conceded the equalization at the last minute in the injury time (90'+15!)[/spoiler]

Never mind, 2018 starts soon. There will be another cup final, Sion will recover but unfortunately Johnny will not.

Looked up Jérémy Taravel on Wikipedia and he only played 5 games for you. There will be another Jérémy. Was he good or was it good old Swiss sarcasm?

He was... unlucky. He provocated penalties (2-3 times) during his games.

2017 was just a poor year for Sion. We fired our trainer Peter Zeidler just before the cup final we lost despite the fact he did a great job...

After that we missed the EL the last match of the season.

We got a lot of new players for this season and a new trainer (Tramezzani) as well. He was said to be successful but in fact he was not. After 12 poor games he was fired as well.

Now we are last but we only have 7 points away from an european place.

If president Constantin gives some time,2018 could be a good year !

Out of interest what is EL?
I have just watched a YouTube video of Jérémy Taravel playing for Lokeren and he seemed ok but perhaps he put the video on!?

Je viens de regarder une vidéo YouTube de Jérémy Taravel jouant pour Lokeren et il semblait bien mais peut-être qu'il a mis la vidéo!?

Taravel was very bad lucky or clumsy, he got like 2-3 avoidable penalties and red cards in a raw, even in the same match. That's why he didn't leave a good impression here.

We used to own an apartment in Villars and as I am a football fan I went to watch Sion. The atmosphere was fantastic and we drank too much red wine with two supporters. Also several Schubligs! I went to lots more games whenever we were in Switzerland. The ground is also in a good environment with the mountains as castles behind.

Nous avions l'habitude de posséder un appartement à Villars et comme je suis un fan de football, je suis allé voir Sion. L'ambiance était fantastique et nous avons bu trop de vin rouge avec deux supporters. Aussi plusieurs Schubligs! Je suis allé à beaucoup plus de jeux quand nous étions en Suisse. Le sol est également dans un bon environnement avec les montagnes comme châteaux derrière.

Actually Sion has more chance to play in CL (swiss challenge league) instead of EL next season ....

A good end of season for both Sion and Rochdale.
